today we had our fourth annual "first day of fall fun family food fest".
which is basically just our favorite chicken soup, homemade biscuits, and something made with pumpkin. (we have to do something to make it feel like the season's changing... )

i love this tradition. so sweet. maybe i'll tell my kids it's the first day of fall and have a feast too. i love it when they're little and don't know the truth.

i printed off the recipe. it sounds yummy. i love soup. i pasted a picture of macy eating the soup onto the recipe. it'll make me happy to see her every time i make it!

we have a "fall party" and a "spring party" every year, too! food, crafts, decorations, just a good excuse to celebrate.
i want that NOW.
