also, our air conditioner is broken. picture the hottest and humid-est day you can imagine. now pretend you've been standing in that weather in a line at disney world for hours. that is what it has been like in our house for the past two days and nights. but the guy is coming tomorrow between the hours of 8 and 11. isn't that pleasant?
oh, and the target here is huge, but it's no ithaca target. i mean, the employees don't make a huge deal over my kids the second we arrive.
and we have a huge ritzy mall, but it has no play area. what's that all about?
and there's no wegman's.
and i started going to the really nice ymca, but there's no brooke and amy to go with. and there's not a group of older women there that make a fuss out of us and ask how our babies are . . .
wa wa.
but there is the beach. so, i guess that's okay.
next time i'll be more chipper. i promise.

broken A/C's make the whole world seem grim. I know. Go ahead and wah a bit - you don't do it often and besides, I think it's in the air. Hope all is looking brighter soon - hey! you're drive across country is over...that's good, right?!
Of course there's no play area in the mall. You're suppose to hire a nanny to take care of the kids while you do all your glam shopping. That way you don't have to worry about kids interrupting your shopping experience. Everyone from Boca Raton knows that!
i was just thinking about you this morning (in the shower. is that weird? that's where i do all my thinking.) i was missing you and wishing you would blog. and then you did! yeah! but, i am sorry that you are feeling a bit blue. it will pass. but until it does, be nice to yourself. it's okay to have some downer days. just know i'm thinking of you (probbaly in the shower) and i love you!
p.s. i can't wait for pics of your house! i hope the laptop is fixed soon. (not to mention the ac)
!Lisa Marie thinks of you in the shower! I wonder who she thinks of on the toilet?
i'll hand it to you, rob. your description of the heat sounds AWFUL.
go jump in the ocean.
(i'm jealous you live by the ocean.)
yeah, go jump off a pier... into the gator-ridden ocean...
robin, hopefully your AC is back in order by now. i hate the horrid, stickiness that surrounds this side of the country right now. i'm making big plans to move north. but for now, let's think of alllll those friends and family of yours who will come a-runnin' to visit you soon. you and that perfect beach. and disney world. i hear FL has great thrift stores too.
cheer up bear! you've got people all over the globe who love you and are thinking of you. even in the shower.
