then i remembered that i had opened the door.
i will pause for laughter.
i have also been known to look for my phone while talking on it, looking for my keys while holding them, asking the kids a question and then completely forgetting their answer three seconds later. not to mention the countless times i have forgotten the reason why i just walked into a room.
"now, what was i doing?" is commonly heard from me around here.
i am 31. is it too early for dementia?

oh rob that is AWESOME. watch out for that leaking tuna salad. bet you havent heard gun shots in a while either. they are cute little brain suckers tho.
I read somewhere that a woman loses 14% of her mind after giving birth to a child. Since you have four children, this means you've lost 4 x 16%...well you get the idea.
Very funny, and oh so true.
Love the Mo Willems reference. :)
Hurry! Start doing cross word puzzles. All the senior magazines say so.
Oh my goodness Robin! Right there with you girl! Sometimes I want to cry when I realize that my 8 year old is smarter than me. Not smarter than me when I was 8, smarter than me NOW! So so sad!
...like you look in the fridge and get all mad at your husband for using the last of the ketchup and not saying anything, and you chew him out but later realize that it's on the counter because you just took it out of the fridge, promptly forgot, and opened the door again to find it....
I do this all the time. Sometimes I ask Jeremy the same question three times in a row because I can't remember a) if I said it out loud and b) if he answered.
It is Genetic!!! What is your name again?
robin, i have seriously been pondering lately at what age i will start experiencing dementia because i KNOW i will have it. or really, i already have it, but at what age will i need help remembering to wipe my bum? you want to be roommates at the assisted living center for crazies? i can move to boca.
I'm right there with you. But then again, it doesn't help when the darling little brain suckers are "helping you along" by hiding your phone in cereal boxes or shoving the remote control in the box of baby wipes.
On a side note, Leonardo the Terrible Monster is amazing. Love it.
i recently neglected to rsvp for a party until the night before. then promptly forgot to go the next day. gary asked me "who forgets stuff like that?" apparently, i do.
but honestly, what can he expect? i can't even have a complete thought without it being interrupted. brain suckers indeed.
