act 1
this act takes place 20-25 years ago. the setting is a small house in salinas, california, just minutes before school is to start.
the characters: a small girl and her frustrated parents...
girl: "i WON'T wear these shoes to school! i hate them! i'm not wearing these shoes to school! take them off! i hate these shoes!"
the girl continues to cry and scream about the shoes while her parents drag her to school.
act 2
this act takes place early this morning, the setting is a small apartment in ithaca, new york, just seconds before the school bus arrives.
the characters: a small girl and her frustrated parents...
girl: "i WON'T wear these shoes to school! i hate them! i'm not wearing these shoes to school! take them off! i hate these shoes!"
the girl continues to cry and scream about the shoes while her mom drags her to the school bus.

oh that's the best picture EVER. I imagine her face looked pretty much the same during the shoe fit. Great story. oh and Parker, stand your ground. Don't let your mom push you around too much.

One day Parker will realize the error of her ways and come to understand what a cool mom she has. She'll learn that those shoes you tried to put her in were really quite hip. And you were only looking out for her best (fashion) interest.
And then she'll realize you really do have rad hair.
