freud this . . .

so, last night i had a dream . . . 

we were going to stake conference, but it was huge, more like a regional conference . . . and it was on river road (in salinas) and there were tons and tons of big trucks parked outside so it looked more like an ag convention or something . . . anyway . . . we got out of the car and i was only wearing my underwear, but clutching a shirt to my chest(?) . . . and like in my other dreams where i'm only wearing underwear or a towel (it happens a lot), it's only a big deal to me, nobody else seems to notice (yes, i've googled the meaning of underwear dreams). . . 

so we go inside and it's this huge auditorium and we're sitting on these bleachers and i'm next to auna locke and annie patello and there's a man and woman singing (the man is horrible!) and they're singing some country/christian/contemporary song, in costumes mind you, and i look to josh and say, "when did we join the baptist church?" . . . and then a boy falls down in the aisle and josh and parker go get him and bring him back to our seats and comfort him with scenes of undersea life on josh's laptop (f.y.i. undersea images are a huge fear of mine). . . 

then we decide that this is not really a stake conference that we feel comfortable with so we get up to leave . . . we go get oliver out of nursery and he's walking around in just a diaper and the nursery leaders start crying because we got there too early and thwarted their plans to kidnap him and the whole time i'm thinking, "why did we bring him to this loony nursery anyway?" and we scooted on out of there as fast as we could . . . with me still only wearing my underwear and clutching a shirt to my chest.

what in the world does that mean?
