but anyway . . .

. . . the point of my last post (and which never seemed to fit in anywhere) was to recommend a couple children's books.  a classic and a new favorite.
i love checking out books that i remember reading as a kid.  i always throw a couple of those into our take-home selections.  recently we read dandelion.  i loved it then, i love it now.  and even better, parker loved it.

and with parker's most recent book order came an adorable, hilarious, quirky little book that i love.  click, clack, moo: cows that type.  my mom (who understands my love for things like "the wonderpets") would especially love this book.  the drawing of the duck marching back to the barn with a note in its beak is my favorite.  love it.

LOVE Click Clack Moo! Funny book. I'll have to check for Dandelion.

LOVE to read to my kids too. It's so cozy!

I can so totally relate-I was one of those kids always reading too! You would definitely be one to appreciate little Jessica's love of reading, she seriously "reads" (what she thinks is reading anyway!)an enormous stack of about FIFTY books a day to herself, loves to be read to, and for about a year now (she's only 3!!) we've had to tell her to turn off the light and stop sneaking books to read!! :)
