an interview with parker

i love lisa-marie's blog. she is so creative and her blog is so entertaining. a while back she interviewed her two oldest kids and i thought that was a great idea. so i'm copying her. thanks lisa-marie . . . you're the best! i wish i was a cool blogger like you!

i thought i'd ask parker a few questions, see how she's feeling about things that have been going on lately and everything that will be happening soon.

me: "where did we just go on a trip?"
parker: "idaho."

me: "what special thing did mommy get to do in idaho?"
parker: "you went shopping with your roommates."

me: "what was your favorite thing you did in idaho?"
parker: (enthusiastically) "bear world!"

me: "did you like driving to idaho?"
parker: "no."

me: "why not?"
parker: "because it was so far away. i liked mcdonalds for dinner though."

me: "when we got back from idaho, daddy left again. where did he go?"
parker: "new wark." (she always says new york, "new wark", like she's already got a jersey accent or something)

me: "why?"
parker: "because daddy has a new job and he wants to go to that job."

me: "what are you most excited about for new york?"
parker: "i think we're gonna go to a rodeo."

me: "have you been a good girl for mommy while daddy's away?"
parker: (nods her head) but just three times i haven't been."

me: "who's coming to grammy and papa dave's house soon?"
parker: (excitedly) "brooklyn, abby, lori, gracie, uncle treg (craig), jamie and anita and scotty and tiana (kiana)."

me: "why?"
parker: "the a'runion!"

me: "what's your favorite thing to do with daddy?"
parker: "tickles tackles."

me: "what's macy's favorite thing to do with daddy?"
parker: (to macy) "macy, what's your favorite thing to do with daddy? daddy daughter dates?" (macy nods and parker turns back to me) "macy and me like daddy daughter dates."

me: "what's oliver's favorite thing to do with daddy?"
parker: (asks oliver the question then turns to me) "he says he likes it when daddy holds him."

"Shopping with your roomates." That is GREAT! What a smart girl, figuring out priorities already!!!! Love it! That was such a cute interview. It always amazes me the things I learn when I ask.

And I'm sorry you had to get shots Macy. No fun.

And, I too always debate. To tell, or not to tell. I usually tell.
