i blame instagram

i hate blogging about blogging, but i'm sorry i haven't been blogging. (mostly i'm talking to my mom.)

there are a couple factors: one, my laptop is broken (never to return) and so i use josh's which is LAME. all my pictures are backed up somewhere in cyberspace and his laptop has the "curse of the floating cursor". second, instagram has filled my need to overshare. so, friends without iphones, you are missing out on some good stuff.  like, pictures of my kids doing funny things and food i'm eating.

here's our life as of late via instagram and other cell phone pictures that oliver hasn't deleted.  yet.

josh in a rare, never-before-seen moment of gluttony.

cheesy school pictures.  gotta love them.  especially when your kid is the only one who refuses to smile and has a dead look in his eyes.  they said they had "their best person try to get him to smile and if she couldn't do it... well..."
josh and i just laughed. that is so ollie. remember this?
parker's new favorite thing is sponge curlers.  her hair turns out really, really curly and cute.

ollie's latest unsupervised antics.
this happened while i was taking a shower.  half of a bag of chocolate chips... gone.

wearing plaid and pretending it's cold.
also, loving my new ray bans.  (thanks amy!)
family fun day at the girls' school.
there's nothing like face paint and the constant hum of bounce houses.
toy room.  a blessing and a curse.
i live here.
but isn't it a cool sign?  kind of charming in a way?
driving the a1a (beachfront avenue!)
summer is alive and kicking here.

spending time outside.  this was a "cold" day.  i was at the park with moms who had sweatshirts on!
jumping in.

and most importantly, my mom was here. which is basically the best.

i promise i will do better at fulfilling my blogging duties.  (mom, dad, craig, heather, and gina...)

p.s. this post took me three times longer to create than normal because of the "curse of the floating cursor".  there is no worse first world problem than that.

Please consider me + my needs when you choose to ignore the blog in the name of instagram fulfillment. While I am your bloggiest, hippest friend, I am also a Droid user.

I loved all of this. From the little peeks I have of your house I can tell that I just adore your style!

And your children are the cutest. That school picture is the best I have ever seen. Then when I clicked on the link to the dentist picture. Oh my. I have no words. That is amazing. I showed it to my husband and we both laughed. It could seriously win awards. It looks like it was almost staged it's so perfect. (Okay, I guess I do have words. :)).

Love the colors in that plaid! I have a such a new found appreciation for purchased plaid shirts after having to make a men's plaid shirt this semester. Working with plaids is a real life nightmare!

"you are missing out on some good stuff. like, pictures of my kids doing funny things and food i'm eating." This totally made me laugh. Because if I had an iphone (heck, I don't even have a cell phone! that, my friend, is a bigger first world problem) I would totally take pictures of my food. Like of the quinoa burgers that I got my kids to eat tonight. Wow.

robin, I thank you for blogging and I demand that you do it more. NEVER MIND that I don't. also, your kids are cute, yadda yadda, love your mom etc., but my favorite picture is of josh and his waffles.
