(... and isn't that song fantastic? yes.)
-american idol. after last season which was lame-o, i was ready to give up, but a quick reassurance from aubry was all i needed. she said she was going to watch this season, so i based my decision solely on that. (because our reality tv texts are the best.) anyway, brett loewenstern is from boca raton! and he's good! and he's an underdog! so, you can bet that if he makes it to the finale i will be at the hometown party with my poster-board sign and "go brett!" t-shirt.

-the bruno mars song "grenade". i've said it before, i'm not a pop music person, so for me to be cruising through the radio stations listening for a song is unusual. that bruno can really write a song, especially considering he wrote every song that's popular right now. logic tells me that i should just download it so i could listen to it whenever i want to, but where's the fun in that? it's much more fun to scan through the stations old-school style, circa 1992, listening for ub40's "can't help falling in love".
-these boots. oliver wears them every day. lately i've been getting more comments from strangers about these boots than the number of kids i have. and that's saying something.

i love it when you do these random posts. i love it when you talk about me, too. and i'm especially loving american idol... i cannot shake this jacee business. what has happened to me?!
Haha! That commercial is hilarious! And I love that song. It sounds like a Jimmy Stewart movie.
in regards to your surfing on the radio comments...i do the SAME thing. i think it's much more magical to wait...and hope for that song to be on.
but i did have to download the super c-u-t-e old navy song. i mean really. it's just awesome. why am i not in that commercial? and why haven't i blogged about that yet? ok, i will.
