...from the dollar store.

sawyer is the sweetest little guy around. i love him so much i can't even take it. i was a little sad on his birthday... my baby is not so much a baby anymore and i don't like it. not one bit.
did you know all a one-year old needs is a bouncy ball and some balloons? people who go into debt for birthday parties are seriously so silly. i mean, you don't even need invitations! all you have to do is invite some friends over for a simple play date and then realize that you invited them over on your kid's birthday and then make a last-minute party out of it! (true story.)

i can't believe it's been a year since this,
and this,
and then this,
and this (my favorite post of mine.)
sawyer, i love yoooouuuu!

I can't believe he is ONE!! he is so cute Robin, SO CUTE. I miss all your cute kids.
Happy birthday Sawyer! We did the bouncy ball thing for Lily's 1st birthday too, and you're totally right...that IS all we needed. I think maybe we blew up a couple of balloons (from Dollar Tree).
Wow, Sawyer is one already? He looks like a little sweetheart and that is such a fun age. The simpler the better for kids at that age. Good times.
He is such a doll! Thanks so much for having us over, Anson loved his time with the kids and I loved having girlie time! Happy Birthday Sawyer!
that means calvin is one just around the corner! gasp. and it means I have been an honorary blogging buddy of yours for almost a year! But back to Sawyer. He IS soo sweet.
things I like about him
1.his curls
2. his thighs
3. his teeth
4. his mother for welcoming us in to witness it all
bittersweet this cup of motherhood. bittersweet.
one! weird how time flies. i'm with kelly- bittersweet. like my kids are totally sassing me today and i remember 3 years ago with toddler milo and newborn pearl thinking, "when they're older it'll be easier!" ha! i guess that doesn't really relate to bittersweetness, it just means i'm having a bad day.
but SAWYER, you have cheered me with your darlingness! happy birthday!
if you were a real housewife, you wouldn't stop at a bouncy ball for sawy-dawg. you'd throw him a tea cup party, i'm sure. just like taylor.
hey. remember me??? that sawyer. he's pretty cute. no seriously. i want to bite his knees.
