(oops. looks like the tooth fairy can't read and left her $2 when all she asked for was $1. maybe the tooth fairy got a little excited, seeing that this was the tooth fairy's first time at our house...)
. . . macy is that she is ambidextrous. at first we thought she was strictly left-handed, but now she uses her right and left hand equally, and with the same results. a simple google search about ambidextrous children has given me more to worry about. . . great. but anyway, i think she's brilliant. so what if she has an iep? she is a genius! an ambidextrous genius!

. . . oliver is that he is obsessed with the letters of the alphabet. he taught himself the letters (because i surely didn't teach him. what? i'm supposed to do that kind of stuff? oops. well, i didn't, so he taught himself) and now he cannot be stopped. he is the alphabet monster. and he calls them "my letters". he sees signs on the street or words on the tv and he perks up, "look mom! MY U!" i haven't had the heart to tell him that they are everyone's letters and that we all must share.

. . . sawyer is that we haven't given him solid food yet. (i guess that doesn't really have anything to do with him but rather his lazy parents. . . poor, poor, starving baby #4.)

thank goodness you posted. i was tired of seeing that creepy doll from your previous post. yay! can't wait to see them all sooon.
parker: she has way more self-control than i do. and she writes better than some of my 7th graders...that's not a joke.
macy: lots of super smart, awesome kids have ieps. don't sweat it...
oliver: let's hook him and livi up. ollie and livi. hmmmmm
sawyer: maybe i should go on a liquid diet like him. shed a couple pounds. will you be my mom?
Sounds like Parker is developing your negotiation skills. What a great picture. And Macy, yes, she is a genius. What would Ollie do in front of Sesame Street?? And Sawyer will be eating Filet Mignon before too long. Love the post-I agree with Craig, that doll has to go. Love Dad
How old is your Oliver? One of my girls is the same way with letters. TOTALLY OBSESSED. Her favorite song is the ABC song and she would spend hours on youtube watching ABC songs if we'd let her. Here's the bonus part about it though. She has pretty much taught herself to read as well. It's ridiculous. So good luck with that too! :)
And Macy's hair is adorable. I love it.
i love your kids.
i love this post (as craig does - no more freaky doll pic).
BUT ROBIN! that picture of parker looks Just Like You!!! i totally stopped when i saw and just stared. then i laughed a bit, thinking of all the great stories about 'raising robin'. kids are so Fun.
so are you coming to hotlanta for christmas?
Love it! I honestly believe something happens on the 4th go around for parents - survival mode kicks in. It's all about efficiency. Lily was so old before we started her on solids that I actually had to start fibbing a bit to the pediatrician when he'd ask how much baby food she was eating. He pretty much would've freaked out otherwise.
I love all your comments on my blog. It makes me miss you. And maybe the reason why we keep going on these weekend trips is because we miss our "old" friends that use to live here in Ithaca, maybe just maybe... and I miss Flordia i really like it there. So I am jealous of your sweaty-ness down there. Remember we are offially freezing our crackers off here.
I love Parker's note "all see you later"
and Tyler is the same way...always saving his treats for later. It kills Halle and Owen as they usually inhale it in 10 seconds flat.
I miss your kids and I miss you.
Loved Parkers note.
I can't imagine being ambidextrous, I'm totally incapable of doing things with my left hand, that I usually do with my right.
I love Ollie's love for letters! It's sweet.
Sawyer is cute and doesn't look like he think's he's a poor starving child. He just looks cute! (And I wish Natalie had at least that much hair)
