florida? florida!

pretty soon (say, july-ish) our little family will belong in this collage of "things that you think of when you think of florida".

josh got Dream Job and we couldn't be more happy about it. it's crazy how fast it all happened. just a few days ago we had no idea where we were headed after graduation. as far as we knew we could have been moving in with my parents. . . but alas, now we know! we are headed to the land of oranges, senior citizens, and gloria estefan!

after the "summer of dreams" (more on that later) we will be moving to boca raton. i can't even believe it! florida was never on the radar. . . it came out of nowhere. and naturally, i am so excited about the weather because i was definitely not meant for cold winters.

the fact that josh has a job and will be making money is exhilarating for both of us. and of course we're both excited for different things. josh thinks, "dream job! opportunities! supporting my family!" and i'm thinking, "new couch! new duvet cover! an orla kiely bag!"

isn't this so great?!
(except, now what do i do with my rather wonderful collection of scarves? do they wear scarves in florida?)

You forgot Ricky martin in that collage. I've really been trying to focus on something other than Gloria estefan, but the best I can do to replace her is Ricky martin.

Creo que hay mucho cubanos que vivan en Florida. Ellos comen much pollo crilloyo y arroz con habicheulas blancas. A la mejor van a oir mucho espanol en Florida. Felicitaciones con el trabajo y espero que tengan mucho exito.

What an exciting move to anticipate. The next two months may or may not go by quickly enough.

Yeah! Congrats! It's crazy that all of you who moved here when we did, (Or maybe even a week or two later .)are leaving and know where you're going. You're all growing up without us.
