who would have thought when i first stepped into the unassuming little white house with the orange shag carpet in the kitchen, that i would be beginning the chapter of my life that has shaped who i am in more ways than i can list. . .
ten years and countless memories later, i am still great friends with many of the roommates i had there. we love to get together and annoy everyone around us everywhere we go. okay, maybe not annoy, but astound. because our mere presence is astounding.
this past weekend, i saw a good friend get married (well, i was a day late. but i partied at the reception). i spent time with my best friends. i got NO sleep. and all i can say is, it was perfect.
i just kept thinking, "i could hang out with these girls every day and love every second of it." really, i have the most amazing friends. we had so much fun together and the laughter -like always - was out of control. we ate too much, we drank excessive amounts of diet coke, we watched old videos from college (and died at how stylish we were), we had awesome discussions within the confines of aubry's car, and we stayed awake all night talking. (really, all night. 3:30am the first night, 6am the second night. we just can't be stopped.)
i love them more than i can say and they have each blessed my life in so many ways.
these two are very upset that they're still single and had to try to catch the bouquet...
i mean, hello. gorgeous. just gorgeous.

till next time, my dear shantresses. till next time. maybe for lara's wedding? (november 11th, anyone?) but one thing's for sure. . . whatever the occasion, lara's wedding or aubry's post-elopement party, we will all be there. embarrassing ourselves wherever we go.

it's one of the things that had us laughing the most. i'm not even kidding, one of the funniest things i've ever seen.

oh shanty-folk, how i miss you all. i love that last shot of lara. can't get over the depth of awesomeness going on there.
and i watched that video. after a couple of minutes, i forced my mouth closed and tried out the "remix". that made me laugh too, but now i CAN'T GET THAT INANE SONG OUT OF MY HEAD!
let us not forget who made sure you made it to this awesome weekend by waking up at 3:45....
and i would do it all over again..

AGH! Our friends and Tyler and I have been all about watching that random tro lo lo guy all week! I even made a ringtone out of it! I can send it to you if you'd like. ;)
