this past weekend brought josh's sister and her family to beautiful ithaca. their visit was overshadowed a bit by ollie's incident, but we had fun nonetheless. we love those anderson cousins! we've been fortunate that we've been able to see them frequently since moving here. we visited them in virginia in october, november, and december, so we were really missing them and needed an anderson fix.
on sunday, while i stayed home with ollie, josh took them on a little tour of campus. he wanted to show everyone the beautiful blossoming trees that he had been telling us about. so he left with the camera and strict instructions from me to get lots of good pictures of the cousins and the pretty trees. this is what he came home with . . .
the cousins on a gray wall in front of a dead tree. nary a pink blossom in sight.
that's funny, right? and he wonders why i'm always the one taking pictures . . .
no, but really, even though i like to give him a hard time about his photograpy skills, he did come home with this gem. i quite like it. . .

Yes that is funny. Darling of the kids though. And I love the 2nd picture. Josh definately showed his photography skills on that one. So very happy that Ollie is doing better. I would give anything to just squeeze him tight. Actually, all three of them. Actually, you and Josh too.
Both cute pictures! Macy really smiled for this picture!
that IS funny...but such a man thing, isn't it? bless their hearts.
i do love the last picture. who knew dandelions could look so good??? way to go josh!
Ha. Love it. hmmm...those grays and browns do remind me of something...oh yes - HOME - Vegas.
Tell Josh he has great use of shadows in that second one. I'm sure he knows that though.
Robin! I just got an e-mail from Mrs. Foote and she said Macy was going to school there. I'm glad someone from church is going there... I love that pre-school. Tell Darcy and Maggie hello for me, they are the best. It was so fun to look at your blog and see pictures of Cindy Bigelow and Andi from Boise, they were a year younger but they are darling. Looking at your photos makes me miss Ithaca. Tell all the ladies hello!
