I can feel your sigh of relief and the physical effect of adrenaline returning to normal levels as I thought about your decent off the plane. Congrats on completing it!
Did you hear that on my way to UT this Christmas (by myself with the boys) Luke almost threw up on the way to JFK? Crying, sweating (both of us), me holding the barf bag in front of his face as we decended. This has happened once before, never actually materilizing, but almost. During the lay over I bought Dramamine and promptly gave him a pill. Didn't occur to me to give it to Caleb and as a result, half way through the flight to SLC Caleb retched all over the middle seat in the middle of the night. It was lovely.
Enjoy your trip and build up what's needed to get back to NY!
