so lately, the kids and i have been cruising around listening to our . . . i mean their . . . favorite new music. santa brought them the "barenaked ladies" children's c.d. "snack time" because santa really knows what the kids want.
i knew i was going to love it even before i listened to it and my suspicions were confirmed when i played it in the car for the first time. the kids were mesmerized. it's catchy, it's clever, it's funny. they're canadian . . . what do you expect?
our favorite song "pollywog in a bog" is so catchy i seriously sing it all day. when we're listening to it, macy giggles every time it comes to the reggae part. i have another favorite song "raisins" which makes me laugh every time i hear it. who else could have the words "i don't want to be a bother but i think the phone's for you" in a song?
so, if you like children's music that isn't lame and crazy canadians as much as i do, get it today. you . . . i mean the kids will love it.

You have me sold! Any kid's music that can be tolerated without chucking out the window is a good thing, but one that is actually enjoyable? Didn't know it existed. Thanks!!
If you like this one try the Kids CD's and matching DVD's of They Might Be Giants. My boys have had ABC's for awhile and for Christmas Cams brother gave them 123's. They are fun. So I will for sure check out barenaked ladies.
Thanks for the suggestion!! I'm always lookng for kids' songs that don't make me want to ralph.
