josh's birthday wrap-up

here's what your birthday looks like when you're turning 30 and your wife forgets to buy wrapping paper . . .

so, we didn't go to florida, new york city, or even out of ithaca . . . but what we did do was go out for pizza (did you know pizza hut is like a restaurant? you can go inside, sit down and order . . . i had no idea!) followed by bowling and some ice cream cake. who says 30 has to be a big bash? of course, josh deserved a huge bash, but hey, by the time he turns 40 we'll be super rich (that's why we're at cornell, right?) and we'll be able to fly dozens of our closest friends and family to a secluded island and party like it wasn't the middle of the winter.

but i have to say, it was great just the way it was.
