friends

i thought i should post some pictures of the kids with some of their new friends.  there are so many kids all around us.  parker loves hanging out with everyone . . . in fact, that's all she ever wants to do!  we spend hours outside almost every day.  thank goodness for all the fun new friends we have.  

there's a family in the next building that has four girls.  i watched the three older ones last week and we had an impromptu princess party.  we dressed up, had a princess tea party, a princess parade, a princess dance-off, and listened to our favorite princess songs (compliments my favorite aforementioned princess c.d.).  we took our parade outside and tried to impress some boys, but they weren't loving the princess vibe.  kellen (a cute neighbor boy, love him!) ran inside saying "disgusting" and wouldn't have any of that.

they did, however, get one boy to participate.  please note the "decoration" of oliver . . .
