thursday was her party. we had it in grammy and papa dave's backyard and it was truly a grand affair. we had her sunbeam class (all boys), one girl from her preschool class, plus little lauren wendt in attendance. macy should have been there too, but she was having a hard time and had to go down for her nap a wee bit early.
the party was a "puppet" theme . . . complete with a rapunzel-themed puppet show (put on by me, josh and grammy), wooden-spoon puppet making, a pinata, finger-puppet favors, a birthday crown, and a pink cake!

looks like a very fun and creative party. Wish we could have been there. But maybe we wouldn't have been invited none of my kids were in her sunbeam class. Oh the scandal that was avoided....
love the wooden spoon puppet idea. Very cute! Parker? Four? Can hardly believe it. I still remember her as the tiny crazy girl who would chase (crawling of course) and scare Ty away.
What an AMAZING party Robin! I might have to steal it. Can I steal it? I just adore those wooden spoon puppets. And the birthday crown.... I think I NEED to get that book!
Can't wait to see you!!!! And I love the pudding face picture. I forgot about that. How did I forget about that? Do you have more pictures of my Shanty generation? I have NONE. How did that happen? IF yours are handy....would you bring them so I can scan them. I NEED those pictures.
LOVE you and can't wait for Thursday!!!! Yippeeeeeeee!
a-mazing. truly. we're going to have to start doing more fun birthday things than just decorating with streamers and making a cake. ok, that's fun, but not very creative...even if my kiddos don't know the difference
You are so cute and creative, I'm going to steal your puppet show idea in a few years, I love it! AND WHY ARE YOU MOVING? I didn't see a post, but I didn't look past the first page...Anyway, I'll have to look harder. And I LOVE the funny things Parker says, those are all hilarious, I'm so glad you wrote them down!!!
