anyway, the kids and i have fled the sunshine state for a little less sunshine in the golden state. seriously, it's cold here. and i love it. josh will join us next week followed by the rest of my family (minus craig, sad face) for some shipley crew good times. we decided to come early to drive my parents extra crazy.
we have had fun adventures with grammy, including three failed letterboxing attempts... but we have had so much fun trying! saturday, we walked around marina state beach, and today we rediscovered toro park. we've gone to the aquarium, enjoyed my parents' beautiful backyard, worn sweaters, worn socks, worn pants (!), breathed in the pacific ocean air, watched the fog roll in, watched the fog roll out, played in the teepee, and eaten at in-n-out. and to think, we're just getting started!

i love where i am from. it is my home. i have never seen a more beautiful place.
and, just when you think it can't get any better, next week will bring some of my best friends to the central coast for fun in monterey, santa cruz, and san francisco. it's really going to be dreamy. i absolutely cannot wait!
and then, AND THEN, after shipley times, we are driving to idaho for ladle fun times in rexburg! it is going to be epic.
i may never return to florida...

And p.s.. I didn't know you were going to California.. That's what I get for being a loser non-instagrammer. :(
but p.s. p.s. I kind of did know you were going to California at some point because of Miss Aubry and her sweet blog.
I guess I'm not totally technology deprived eh?
Or drive on down & you could have some Taylor-Time!!! Just 5 hours south. miss you!
you better come back!
