. . . and so things have remained since we moved in five weeks ago.
maybe i'm waiting for it to start feeling like home so i can hang the pictures. or maybe i'm waiting for the pictures to be hung so it can start feeling like home. either way, i have been so unmotivated to decorate.
(or maybe it's the uninspiring tile floor. florida loves tile floors.)
i need my mom to consult with . . . that's the truth. i can't make a decorating move without her input.
meanwhile, the girls' room is waiting for its final touches and the boys' room is a sad empty space. and the extra room is not so much of a blessing as it is a curse. it's just full of all the boxes we haven't unpacked yet.
mom . . . help . . . i need you . . .

you can do it robin! you could also show us some more pictures of your house and what FL looks like. aren't there gators in your backyard or anything?
I think that would be a strange feeling...BUT it will feel like home soon enough. Where your heart is, your home is also. Or something like that. Or not. I don't know. Just hang in there! I'm thinking of you.
I agree. Mom could use a little r&r right now. We will see about getting her out there. Love Dad
hmmmm. Can't say I know how you feel with this one. Reas always laughs at me because I'm hanging pictures and decorating mantles before we even know where a bar of soap is. I'd totally hang them for you if I weren't like 15 states away.
but really they look kind of awesome just propped against the wall!
