it's been a while since i've mentioned macy's speech issues, so i just wanted to say that she's doing so, so, so much better. from where she was last year to where she is today is absolutely amazing. macy has been working with a wonderful, heaven-sent therapist three times a week since we moved here almost 18 months ago, and she never imagined macy would be doing this well so soon.
here is macy singing along to her favorite song . . . something she's been wanting/trying to do for a while now, and now she's finally (kind of) able to. . .
(next: work on her pitch.)
here she is telling the story of little red riding hood. it's hard to tell what she's saying, especially because she goes off script a few times. but trust me, it's momentous. . .
as her mom, it was so painful to see macy trapped inside her body for so long, not being able to communicate at all. and now, i am loving seeing her come out of her shell and finally being able to say what she's always wanted to say.
it's a miracle.

She is so darling! I could understand a lot of what she was saying. Way to go Macy Girl!
She is so SO cute, Robin! She's got some spunk and personality for sure. I guess she's pretty clear about when she's had enough camera time. Love it!
What a sweetie pie. She seems to be enjoying the whole chat. And I'm sure she will improve over time.
did she hurt you?
I can't wait to talk to her in person.
