. . . parker
is that while we were in california, she could not get enough of visiting papa jim (my grandpa) at the rest home. she wanted to go there all the time, and after visiting she would often say, "i didn't want to leave! i could stay there all day!" it's a situation that most could find uncomfortable or depressing but it didn't phase her one bit. i see geriatric care in her future.
. . . macy
is that she has yet to say her own name. she is almost 3 1/2, and while her language has really improved over the summer (really, really, really improved) she refuses to say "macy". it's kind of funny, but i also just really want to hear her say her name. i've tried a few times to trick her by saying, "when you go to preschool and they ask you what your name is, what are you going to say?" to which she replies, "poopyhead".
is that he squeals like a seagull and points his finger whenever he sees or hears any of the following: a dog, a bird, a train, a truck, or an airplane. and he will continue to squeal and point until you acknowledge his squealing and pointing by saying, "oh is that a truck, ollie?" to which he nods his head and goes on with whatever it was he was doing...

robin...oh how I have been thinking of Ithaca this week! I LOVE your blog still...and I consistently laugh out loud when reading it. I also usually read your post out loud to Nate. So he is keeping up too!
Thanks alot . . . Now you just made me miss Parker and Macy and Ollie even more (if that were even possible).
A very cute post, Robin. How wonderful that Parker has such a love for the rest home!
I had all kinds of things to say about the three sweet amigos, but all I can get out is, I love Ollie's curls. I really feel like Ramon Quimby and want to "boing" them!!!!
