sorry the blog has been a little neglected as of late. we got to california and i promptly came down with some sort of sinus infection. which apparently includes: temperature, extreme body aches, eye goop, ear soreness, throat soreness, and general fatigue.
it's been such a good time so far!
i have to hand it to my mom who defnitely wins "best grammy ever award". she's taken over for me as full-time mom, as well as being a full-time caretaker to her mom (nana) and frequent visitor of her dad (papa jim) at the rehabilitation center (due to a broken hip).
yep, i bet she's super glad we're here!
meanwhile, while i'm sleeping all day, the kids are loving being in grammy's backyard . . .
thanks grammy . . . and i'll be back, dear blog, when i feel like i'm alive again.

i'm sorry you are all goopy and sickly. but you ARE in salinas. that just has to equal good times, even if you are practically at death's nasty, stuffy-nosed door.
