this is what homeless looks like . . .

we were literally homeless for about 20 hours on sunday to monday.
picture this . . .
it was sunday morning, our subleters were moving into our apartment in seven hours, and we had yet to hear a final confirmation from josh's possible internship in boston. so at about ten o'clock i suggested we just pack it up and go to jamie and travis' house in virginia until we knew for sure where we would be going for the summer. (if for some reason the boston internship fell through, we were prepared to head to california for the summer to stay with my parents.)
but finally, josh got the phone call monday morning that we were waiting for . . . so yes, we will be living in boston for the summer. they are furnishing it as i type and we will be moving in on thursday.
that was our adventure with homelessness . . . don't i have the cutest homeless kids? yes, macy's falling asleep in that picture and yes, parker is in there, you just can't see her (well, you can kinda see the top of her head). she was very well-situated.
a special thanks to brooke and melanie for the special travel bags for the girls filled with awesome goodies. it was like the best thing to ever happen in parker's life, and macy was carrying it the whole car ride and still carries it around everywhere she goes. and i love the wicked soundtrack! you girls spoiled us . . . and don't worry, we totally rationed the m&ms.

Looks exciting!
WEird to think we could be neighbors!! kind of like it
i like that there are like 4687613 quilts from jan in that car. it's like - if the house were to catch fire, what would we gather? QUILTS!
if we were homeless for the summer, what would we take? QUILTS!
actually, i'd take quilts. homeless people always seem so cold. although, homeless people don't have a gmc acadia, so nevermind....
boston! newbury street! boylston street! brett bennion! and if you ate pizza... the upper crust! (you should eat pizza this summer)
oh, boston.
i'm sighing right now. over and over and over again.
ooh! boston!
i'm not only sighing, i'm thinking of visiting you. :) wanna come out sometime aubry?
robin, i am SO glad for you that your homelessness was of short duration. i was worried that you'd be in a motel 6 somewhere. hooray for josh and a furnished apartment!!
I'm so excited for you guys! you will love it there!
I'm glad Josh got his intership....but I wish more that you guys came here for the summer. That would've been so great. Darn...so close.
good thing its boston, i don't think the m&m's were rationed for cali.
