happy birthday to my littlest brother.
sorry mom. your baby is 24. . .
craig is great.
craig is fun.
craig is the most positive person i know.
if you ever want to feel like the funniest person in the world, just talk to craig. he will sincerely laugh at everything you say.
when craig was in the first grade, he wanted to be the white rabbit from "alice in wonderland" for halloween. so he was. he was the only boy with pink cheeks and spectacles i can tell you that.
when craig was little we had a little routine that we called "up". we would perform it all the time. it involved me lying on my back and lifting him up in the air with my legs while holding his hands with our arms straight (can you see it?) and doing a series of flips and cool poses. it really was impressive. i'm not just saying that.
craig is always a good sport. when we were little and we thought it was fun to pick on the littlest one, craig was always game. i remember making him cry just so i could hug him and say i was sorry because he was always so cute about forgiving me.
a member of my home stake presidency once told me that he felt completely comfortable letting his daughter go places with craig. he said "i always know that if craig shipley is there, i never have to worry."
he is the best uncle ever. he will go places like mymuseum with me and not even grumble. once, when everyone went to see a movie he'd already seen, he fell asleep on the floor outside oliver's room because he was afraid he wouldn't hear him if he woke up.
he is the only person i know that doesn't like mexican food.
he is the only guy i know that remembers birthdays and important dates. and he sends cards. even when he was on his mission.
i could go on and on and on and on and on and on . . .
have a great birthday craigy. i love you . . .

Yea Craig! I love you too.
Ditto to all. Can it be 24 years? Impossible you say, well, it is so. Thanks Robin for posting all the little tidbits that I obviously as the father unit had absolutely no idea was going on. Making him cry so you could be forgiven?? Hmnn. Oh well. Love Dad
I can't believe my baby is 24. I can't believe you (Robin) are 30. I can't believe I'm...well old. Happy Birthday Craig. I hope you don't have too many scars from Robin teasing you when you were little.
Love it! That's the same Craig that I remember and love... I did not know about the Mexican food though, maybe we can convert him- he did try guacamole!
