for fun . . .

we haven't seen much of our kitchen table lately because we've been doing lots of this . . .

plus,

a little "now-that-school-is-over-what-do-we-do" fun. . .

this week we celebrated the completion of josh's first year of grad school.  way to go josh!  we had to celebrate a little late because i was off galavanting . . . 

anyway, parker really wanted red heart sprinkles, but we couldn't find any.  so she settled for blue sprinkles which she and macy basically dumped on top of the cake.

we walked around cornell campus yesterday for the first time in a long time.  it's such a beautiful campus, we need to meander there more often . . .

we had our last (for some of us) girl's night out this week.  we went to dinner and then, a first for me, we did karaoke.  (when i say "we", i mean not me.)

however, those who did choose to perform did not disappoint.  i have not laughed that hard since i don't even know when.  i was hoarse by the end of the night from cheering the girls on and laughing hysterically.  it was just about the funniest thing i've ever seen.  my cute, sweet, little friends just laid it all out there!  i was not expecting what i saw.  it was a little "mormon moms gone wild".  here's a little taste . . .
