lots of lovely ladle ladies

within 24 hours of returning from my whirlwind trip to the city, i left for the ladle girls' retreat.  josh's mom started this tradition five years ago and we do one every eighteen months to two years.  it is so fun to reconnect with all the great women in josh's family.  every one of them is an example to me in one way or another, and josh's mom is so wonderful to provide the opportunity for such a meaningful tradition.

in the years past, we've done a spa weekend in salt lake, visited nauvoo, and toured prince edward island (i know. . . awesome, right?)
this year we all met in richmond and from there we went to williamsburg (on friday), norfolk (to see wicked on friday night, which was the highlight of the trip for me . . . i absolutely loved it), and saturday was spent in d.c. along with an afternoon session at the d.c. temple.

it was so much fun and i am truly appreciative of these wonderful women.
thank you mom ladle for such a great time!
