ladle kid performances

just a few videos to share. . .

this first one is of macy dancing solo while parker's at school.  she usually mimics whatever parker does, so it's always fun to see her freestyle it.  as for that costume?  it's what she wears all day.  as soon as she wakes up, it's tutu time.

here we have ollie laughing.  i can't get enough of that sound!  also, you can see his lopsided hair.  so many more curls on the left side of his head than his right.  weird . . .

the girls LOVE dancing.  we have music stations on our cable and we have the "light classical" station on pretty much all day and they are as happy as can be.  

in this video macy's saying "cockoo" (nutcracker).  anytime they're doing ballet she says it's the nutcracker.  so, here she's saying that they're dancing to the nutcracker and "me baby cockoo" and parker's the "mama cockoo".  

i love her expressive arm movement after she finishes talking.  that's my favorite part.  also, it's not the nutcracker music . . . it's puccini.  but i didn't have the heart to tell her.

this video's awesome because parker really takes it away in this one.  i think she's pretty good, but i'm her mother.  i have to think that.  check out how she dances on her toes.  ouch!  like she's pretending she's in pointe shoes or something.
