my mom and nana were able to come visit us this past week. it was so awesome having them here. the fact that we moved so far away has been especially tough on them. nana and macy have a special bond. . . and my mom (and dad) had seen my children practically every day of their life up until the time that we left three months ago. so this visit was a must.
thanks to them, i was able to take an uninterrupted nap, my dishes were done in a timely matter, i was able to sit through relief society, oliver got a thomas the train set, and we got to eat at chili's! hooray!
thanks mom and nana . . . we loved having you here.

can i be jealous too? i want a visit, no wait. i want in on the next shipley reunion. in return, i'm prepared to admit robin (and family) to next year's fischer extravaganza. i love your family rob, and what a blessing to have your mum & nana come at the same time. hooray!!
We had a great visit! Loved being with you and Josh and the babies. But really, I look awful in that picture...Oh well. We loved reading to Parker and Macy and playing with Ollie. For Nana, it was a trip of a lifetime. thanks for having us.
