ladle of love

a couple items of business to take care of . . .

first of all, happy birthday to jamie, my bestest friend ever (even though lately we mostly communicate through comments on each others' blogs).  but even even without our blogs, she'd still be my bestest-ever friend because i just love her.  she's the best shopping buddy i've ever had, the best baker i've ever had as a roommate (ah, the days of eating a whole pan of halloween brownies), the best to have a bean-fest with, and the only friend/roommate who's ever sprayed my bed with lavender-scented, sleep-inducing pillow mist out of the kindness of her heart.  what can i say?  she's the cow that complements my hag-ness.

i love you jamie!  now, go make yourself a cake.

i don't have any pictures of the actual birthday girl to post (that's how good of friends we are), but here's one of parker and emberly the first time they met.  they'll be best friends someday too.  whether they want to or not.

secondly (and slightly more important. . . no offense jamie), congratulations to my other bff and mumbler of a brother scott and his adorable, awesome wife kiana. . .  they're gonna have a baby!  due date: april 6th.

 finally, a reason for them to blog.
