monday was strawberry picking day! we LOVE to go strawberry picking. we do it every summer and it's a big hit. this year we went with seth and chelsea word and their kids linkin and sadie. we had a lot of fun . . . and a lot of sun.
what do you do with 15 pounds of strawberries? why, make strawberry pie of course!and strawberry shortcake,
and strawberry juice,
more strawberry shortcake,
strawberries, strawberries, strawberries...

Ahhh...if I ranked the top 10 things I miss about Salinas, strawberries would definitely be up there. These pics brought back memories of the summer you and Josh introduced us to strawberry picking. **sniff sniff** And the pie!!!

we're heading to the growers market for the first time this sat. hope they have great stuff there! though, not nearly as fun as picking it yourself.
