grammy and papa dave went down to orange county to stay with them (brooklyn, abby, lori) while jamie, anita, and baby grace toured franklin, tennessee (relocation pending) for a house. however, on the way down there, they decided it would be fun to bring the girls back up to salinas. we didn't tell parker they were coming and when she woke up friday morning, surprise! there they were! she was so happy. they have so much fun together. we went to the aquarium, a play, the park, and had waterfights and swimming parties in the backyard (thank you heat wave!)
on sunday, oliver and i went with mom to drive them home. oliver went along so he could be formally introduced to grace, his most recently arrived buddy/cousin from heaven. of course, he was twice as big as her. in a wrestling match, my money's on oliver.
